Wendy Stone Director

Head Coach Niagara University, 8th year DI college coach, US Team Staff, 3 sport Athlete at Williams College

Wendy Stone enters her sixth season as Purple Eagles’ head women’s lacrosse coach. Prior to her time in Niagara, Stone spent three years at Longwood University in Farmville, Va.— two seasons as an assistant coach and one season as an interim head coach.

Stone has also been a member of the U.S. Women’s National Team Staff since 2009, serving in the role of General Manager. She was on staff for the team that won the World Championship in Prague in 2009 and the gold medal in Oshawa, Ontario in 2013, and the US Team that won the 2017 FIL World Cup in Guilford, England and the 2017 International World Games Gold Medal.

Scott Teeter Coach

Canisius College Head Coach (16th Season), Canadian National Team Coach. 6 MAAC Titles in the last 7 years.

Now in his 17th season leading the Golden Griffin women’s lacrosse team, Teeter has guided Canisius from a team that averaged fewer than two wins per season to a MAAC Championship to winning six conference titles in the last seven seasons, including trips to the NCAA Tournament from 2011 to 2014 and again in 2016 and 2017.

Also in 2017, Teeter led the Canadan National team to a pair of silver medals, both at the FIL World Cup held in England and the World Games in Poland. That continued his string of strong international coaching, as Teeter excelled In 2015, as he led the Canadian National Team to the country’s first gold medal by winning the 2015 FIL Under-19 World Championship.

Chelsea Rosiek Coach

St. Bonaventure Head Coach, 7th year as college coach, played collegiately at Temple University was a 2x All A-10 Selection

Rosiek had been the head coach at Division II Chestnut Hill (Pa.) College since 2012, leading the Griffins to their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) playoff berth in six years this past season. Under Rosiek's guidance, four members of the Griffins were named to the spring 2015 CACC All-Academic Team while Hunter Leckonby was selected as the conference Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Year. At least one Chestnut Hill player received all-conference accolades each season of Rosiek's tenure at the school.

"We couldn't be more excited to have Chelsea join St. Bonaventure as our next women's lacrosse head coach," St. Bonaventure Director of Athletics Tim Kenney said. "Her experience, knowledge of the Atlantic 10 Conference and fantastic personality will help us shape our lacrosse program for future success on the field and off."

Lindsay Abbott Coach

Buffalo State Head Coach, 4th year as a college coach, played collegiately at Cortland where she was a four-time All-American Selection

Four-time All-American player Lindsay Abbott was named Buffalo State's head women’s lacrosse coach in August 2014 and was promoted to senior woman administrator in August, 2017.

She has led Buffalo State to a pair of SUNYAC playoff appearances in her first three seasons at the helm and has paced the Bengals to an improved record each season.

Megan (Portka) Donnelly  Coach

Varsity Coach at Hamburg High School & Frontier High School, coached 6 Section VI Championship Teams, 11 years of High School Coaching Experience, played collegiately at Canisius College

Meghan Portka, a 2005 graduate of Canisius College, was most recently the Assistant Varsity Coach at Hamburg High School. Before joining the staff at Hamburg, Meghan was the Assistant Varsity Coach at Frontier High School from 2006-2013, where she coached her teams to the 2012 and 2013 Class A Section VI Runner-Up finish and to the 2011 Section VI Class A Championship. During that time, Meghan coached numerous All-Western New York honorees as well as one All-American selection. For the past five years Meghan has also served as the head coach for the Western New York/Rochester Team for the US Lacrosse Women's Division National Tournament.

Renee Poullott Coach

Canisius College Assistant Coach, Goalie Coach, 4 year starter at Cornell University, All-Ivy League Selection, IWLCA All-Region Selection. Current member of the Upstate Pride of the WPLL (Women’s Pro’ League:

Poullott comes to Canisius after finishing a successful four-year career with the Cornell Big Red. The Ivy League standout finished her career with an 8.40 goals against average, 453 saves, and a 41-23 record. The past two-seasons she’s recorded more than 10 wins, compiling a 27-11 record between 2016 and 2017.

With Cornell’s win over Notre Dame in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, she became the winningest goalkeeper in program history and finished her career second in Big Red history in all-time saves (453).

Kaylin Morisette Coach

Canisius College Assistant Coach, Team Canada Senior Team Member, played collegiately at the University of Louisville where she was a three-time IWLCA All-America Selection, ranks 2nd all time in NCAA in Draw Controls, played for the Philly Force of the UWLX (Women's Pro League)

A three-time All-American at the University of Louisville, Kaylin Morissette is in her second year with the Canisius College women’s lacrosse program as an assistant coach.

“We are very excited to have such a talented athlete like Kaylin join our program,” said Canisius head coach Scott Teeter. “When you can bring in a three-time All-American on to your staff, it only helps to continue to raise the bar with our team. Kaylin has had success at every level she has played and I expect it to be no different as she transitions into a coach. She is one of the best draw specialists to play the game and we’re thrilled that she can share her expertise at Canisius.”

Alice Mercer Coach

Niagara University Assistant Coach, Team USA Member and Gold Medalist at the 2017 FIL World Cup and International World Games, played collegiately at Maryland where she was a three-time IWLCA All-American, two time NCAA Champion and a 2016 Tewaaraton Finalist, current member of the New York Fight of the WPLL (Women’s Pro League)

Alice Mercer is entering her second season as an assistant coach at Niagara.

One of the most accomplished defenders in the NCAA from 2013 to 2016, Mercer helped the University of Maryland Terrapins to four regular-season conference titles, three conference tournament titles, four NCAA Championship game appearances, and two NCAA Championship wins. In her Maryland career, Mercer totaled 109 ground balls, 72 caused turnovers, and 53 draw controls. Mercer’s list of individual accolades includes two NCAA All-Tournament honors, three first-team all-conference honors, and numerous conference and All-American honors from the IWLCA.

Amy Martin Coach

Niagara University Assistant Coach, 5th year college coach, played collegiately at Holy Cross where she was Patriot League Goalie of the Year and All-Patriot League 1st Team Selection

Amy Martin is entering her second season as an assistant coach at Niagara.

Prior to Niagara, Martin spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga. from 2014-16. Martin's primary responsibilities were coaching the goalies and developing the defensive game plan, as well as, being the main point of contact for incoming student-athletes.

Ashley O’Brien Coach

Buffalo State Assistant Coach, 4th year as a college coach, played collegiately at Buffalo State where she was a two-time All-SUNYAC Selection as a goalie

Ashley O’Brien rejoined the Buffalo State staff in August 2014. The former four year women’s lacrosse goalkeeper for the Bengals was an assistant coach for the program during the 2012 season. Before returning back to Buffalo State, O’Brien was an assistant women’s lacrosse coach across town at Medialle College for two years. O’Brien has also coached at the club level with the Honeoye Falls-Lima Women’s Lacrosse Club and the Buffalo Wing’s Lacrosse Club.

Christina Baffuto Coach

St. Bonaventure Assistant Coach, 2015 IWLCA DII Goalkeeper of the Year, played collegiately at Lock Haven University

Christina Baffuto was named an Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach at St. Bonaventure in September 2016 and enters her second season with the Bonnies.

Prior to St. Bonaventure, Baffuto had been head coach of the NJ Lakers Select in Mount Olive, N.J. since the summer of 2015, and also served as the assistant varsity coach at Gill St. Bernard's School since spring of 2016, where she was also the head middle school coach.

Jenna Kasmarik Coach

St. Bonaventure Assistant Coach, 2 time All-ALC honoree, played collegiately at Johns Hopkins University and Winthrop University.

Jenna Kasmarik joined the Bonnies women's lacrosse staff as an assistant coach in July 2017.

Kasmarik previously coached at Lassiter High School in Marietta, Ga., where she served as the team's offensive coordinator. There, she helped Lassiter improve from a 10-11 season in 2016 to 17-4 in the spring of 2017. Lassiter won its first region championship and had seven student-athletes named All-State.
